Custom low-voltage landscape lighting for Ann Arbor, MI, path, uplight, wash, and specimen-tree fixtures designed on your property, buried clean, and controlled automatically.
Landscape lighting is where your curb appeal earns its second shift. We design pathway, uplight, wash, and hardscape lighting for Ann Arbor homes so architecture, plantings, and outdoor living areas keep working long after sunset.
Every layout is planned on-site. We walk your Ann Arbor yard at dusk when possible, place fixtures where they actually flatter the house, then bury runs cleanly and set the transformer for automatic dusk-to-dawn or app-scheduled operation.
Fixtures are brass and cast metal, chosen to survive Michigan winters, salt trucks, and mower crews without pitting or fading out in two seasons.
Your lighting project shouldn't have to wait. Pre-qualify in minutes through Acorn Finance and spread the cost of your installation into easy monthly payments. Checking your options won't affect your credit score.
Financing AvailableModern landscape lighting is a low-voltage (12V) system. A transformer steps 120V house power down to 12V, then buried cable runs out to weather-rated fixtures. 12V is safe to bury shallow, safe around water features, and doesn't require licensed conduit work.
Fixtures come in categories by job: uplights (aimed up at facades and trees), downlights (moonlighting from a tree), path lights (defining walkways), wash lights (broad soft light on plantings), well lights (buried, aimed up), step lights, and hardscape/deck lights.
The lamps are almost always LED now. LEDs draw a fraction of the power, last 10x longer, and let one small transformer run a much bigger system than the old halogen days.
The best landscape lighting isn't about brightness, it's about layers. We combine uplights on your facade, path lights on your walk, and soft washes on plantings so your Ann Arbor home reads warm and inviting from the street.
We plan every fixture on-site rather than dropping a template on your yard. Every Ann Arbor property has different sight lines, mature trees, and hardscape, the plan reflects that.
Wiring is buried below mower depth, terminated in weather-rated connectors, and returned to a smart transformer. Fixtures are brass or cast metal so a hard Michigan winter doesn't strip your yard of light by spring.
Your system runs automatically, on at dusk, off on your schedule, and we can pair it with the same app that runs your permanent LED system so everything outside your Ann Arbor home lives on one screen.
Yes. If you already have Jellyfish or Govee Pro on your Ann Arbor home, we can pull the landscape lighting into the same controller and app so it's one experience.
We use bed edgers and pull wire under sod carefully. Most Ann Arbor installs show almost no trace within a week or two.
Brass and cast-metal fixtures typically outlast the plantings around them, we routinely re-lamp fixtures we installed a decade ago.
Yes. We're the crew that installed it, so we're the crew that comes back when a bulb goes out or a plant grows into a fixture.
